Waiter / waitress job at a family café in Palma
Nanaland is a new indoor playground and family café in Palma, for children aged 0 to 8. We're looking for the person who will make our café the grown-ups' favourite spot while the little ones play.
What you'll do
- Make coffees, fresh juices, milkshakes, cocktails and mixed drinks.
- Prepare simple food: focaccia, panini, toasties and snacks.
- Look after the bar and the tables with a smile, and take payments (card terminal and till).
- Keep the bar and kitchen spotless: cleaning, hygiene and allergens.
- Check stock, place orders and receive deliveries.
- Prepare the food for birthday parties.
- Lend a hand in the play area and at reception when needed.
What we're looking for
- Experience as a waiter/waitress, in a café or in hospitality.
- Quick and organised behind the bar, even at the busiest moments.
- Food handler certificate (or happy to get one).
- You enjoy working with families and children around.
- Fluent Spanish. Catalan and English are a big plus.
- Available at weekends (we open Tuesday to Sunday).
- Experience as a café supervisor or in children's leisure is a plus.
